Not from UK and also not a student, but imo this is more a school problem than the students. The teachers just do not understand how to cope with AI. With open note exam and traditional exam style questions, I would be an idiot if I do use AI.

Ads on youtube are getting even more stupid. Does anyone get those ads about “procastinations” and “ADHD”? It starts off with some songs like “Procastination isnt your fault…” and some dolls dancing? So annoying
they probably already bought too many of Boeing planes before these accidents happened. So what are they gonna do, put a bunch of Boeing planes in the back room and use Airbus? Still when i fly, I avoid Boeing like a plague. The problem is there are very limited Airbus flights for my route.

If you’re a complete newbie, go Ubuntu. Yes, it’s boring but the community is huge. You can find a lot of answers about problems on reddit/ stack over flow…etc. Literally any Linux problem you have, a Google search of that will show many answers from Ubuntu community.
dont forget on some phones OS, you can actually pick and choose the download location. After you downloaded though, the files arent there…

I owned 4 Samsungs: S8, S10e, S22 and S24 Ultra. Their products got worse. An example is the recent One Ui 7 update, it is just terrible: My notification area that works perfectly fine before, is now changed; my battery life got worse…etc.
Even if I ignore the update, Samsung products are just not great anymore. Remember when a Galaxy can take really great photos? Those days are gone. My S24 Ultra takes the worst pictures in comparison to a Xiaomi or Huawei. Heck, even the controversial Asus Zenfone 10 takes better picture. Sure the Galaxy has better Megapixels, but the AI bullshit makes it so the colors are all wrong.
With that said, you want to go for Pixel + GrapheneOS. Anything that is close to stock Android should be ok. Oh, and stay away from anything with a lot of AI.

its not really changing sim but more like changing phone. I have the big S24 Ultra but sometimes I just want something smaller and easier to carry, so I swap to a Zenfone 10.
Best thing I’ve done: delete Facebook/Meta. It was very difficult because you kept coming back… Think I “deleted” 20 times and still crawled back to login. Yeh…
So I came up with a plan to purposely delete and lock myself out of it.
This was like 5 yrs ago, I didnt have much uploaded photos so the process was easy. First, I changed the email on Facebook/Meta to a temporary one. Then I went further to use some random password create a new password.
Then I deleted the account with that temporary email and random password and closed the browser. Finally, I nuked my entire OS and reinstall a new one, just in case if the cache contains data about the email and password.
