Really? I’m set up for always on wireguard when not on my home network. And android auto works fine. And yeah, I’m doing full tunnel.

This is my question. I didn’t read into it much, but isn’t the problem a permissions level thing in android, or is this specific to the play store?
I think you should cruise this guy’s channel:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg6gPGh8HU2U01vaFCAsvmQ
He’s very fair and uses all operating systems. I’m almost certain he’s had a video on this exact question.
I know I’ll get down voted for this, but from that site:
"Microsoft wants you to buy a new computer.
But what if you could make your current one fast and secure again?"
Kind of a sensationalized statement. I’ve upgraded tons of machines from 2015 and newer to windows 11 without issues. Sure, not all of them, but I’d say a majority of them, and the “upgrade” is free.
I guess I wanted to point out this piece isn’t as doom and gloom as it seems.
For shits and giggles I tried using copilot on windows 11 on my brand new x1 carbon laptop.
Seeing those fucking loading bars they use for Microsoft 365 admin centers pulse for like 10 seconds was enough to make my blood boil.
It’s bad enough they shove it everywhere, but do they have to make it also so fucking shitty?
Then I Alt tabbed to Chatgpt and all was well.
I fucking hate how I can’t listen to my music libraries in the main app now. I have a separate profile for other people in the house and I can’t switch profiles with plexamp.
And what do you set your forwarders to?
If I had to guess, drivers.
Also any idea on ram consumption during this period? If you’re low on ram, and somehow something as simple as browsing Lemmy fills your memory, your computer will possibly page the game (move the running memory of the game from RAM to your HDD) which is significantly slower than RAM.
If this was true, then it’s a bug in something. Videos are practically the least demanding thing you can do on a computer these days…
Edit:
Guess the down voters play uncompressed videos while transcoding or something lmao
I like to call this the wild West of the internet. I miss it.
Bruh, last device I rooted and unlocked was in like 2015. Lost the need to do it.
Back then though, I’d never heard of a custom ROM that doesn’t have root enabled by default. Is that where we are at now?
But this is for dirt biking, I don’t want to dirty it with beer.
…I guess I could buy 2…
I know, I’ve done it 😁
Predevloped brain. Like speeding is fun. 👹
Weird the hate for it. It saved me so much time clicking through links and skipping past the first 14 bullshit paragraphs of something talking about a life story just to get to a recipe for example. If it was something that actually mattered, sure, but in this example, if chatgpt get the recipe wrong I use a different one next time. Nobody died. Big deal.
🙄
I’m not conducting surgery here, a minor curiosity. Who gives a fuck. Also it has sources. Also if I cared enough about something like this, I’d click them and evaluate them. Also Chatgpt is trained on shit like reddit… AND “GOOGLE”.
Let me introduce you to this AI TV remote. You push this button, and AI turns it on. Revolutionary!! Right??!
How can I tell if I’m using the play store or f droid version? I can’t remember what I did.
Nevermind, if I go to app info, it says at the very bottom.
Also the app is up to date and I have no problems mentioned here.
