  • Yes and “vegan cheese” is cheese? The DPRK is democratic? Chinese Checkers are from China? French Fries are from france? Pencil lead is actually Pb? Koala bears are actually bears? Star fish are fish? Just because some moron who didn’t know any better named something inappropriately doesn’t mean they’re right.

Besides it being called pizza, it actually doesn’t look much like real pizza contrary to your claims. I also would be hard pressed to call lunchables pizza “real pizza” despite the visual similarities and name, simply imitating the name or look does not a pizza make.

And eeeehhhhh “deep dish” is Chicago deep dish, detroit pan style is pan style. If you want to say “well a pan is a dish” and be pedantic so you can claim a worse style then fine but you’re doing yourself a disservice trying to equate it to the Chicago style just for the name recognition. Detroit doesn’t need to ride Chicago’s coattails, their pizza is already better, and chicago’s isn’t even pizza, as I’ve mentioned.

  • Huh, for some reason I just noticed how it’s ok to sexualize a woman if you depict the one doing the sexualizing as also a woman. Like, if this comic depicted a male in the drivers seat rather than a woman it’d be a serious problem because men finding women attractive is not good but women finding women attractive is good and funny.

Maybe… I know this idea is kinda radical but stay with me… maybe it’s ok for everyone to be attracted to someone and to a degree sexualization of the gender one is sexually attracted to is absolutely a normal human experience no matter what you identify or were born as? Huh…

  • Honestly there is something to the idea of pretending a joke is personal experience, as it’s always funnier. Like, instead of saying “so this guy was talking to his neighbor…” I’ll say “so I was talking to my neighbor yesterday and…”

The real issue (well besides the possible racist connotations) is this joke is SO overused, this is the fourth time I’ve seen it while scrolling this thread. At least give a different variation like “-andra” (dashandra) or “beu-ious” (bodacious lmao I’m actually kinda proud of that one).
